Aesthesis (2026)
Set within the context of global ecological loss, change, and devastation, Aesthesis is an animated film cycle abstractly depicting tender and fraught sensuous relationships between the human body and the natural world. The film was hand drawn and filmed with ecologically investigative processes, such working with entirely homemade botanical pigments and charcoals, processing analogue film with homemade eco-processing techniques (using plant materials), animating sequences with modified microscopic technology, and collaging with second hand books.
